Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

I am not a waffle expert, but enjoyed, very much, the buckwheat waffle and warm boysenberry syrup. Coffee was excellent and the wait staff was both friendly and efficient. I will return.

so good. period. Very Friendly, curteous waiters and staff. Delicious food. Great prices! Cant ask for a better place! We love going here for breakfast and lunch. Some mornings you might have to wait a few minutes to be seated, but I think that just tells you something about the popularity of the place. They do not take credit/debit cards though, so be prepared with cash (they have an atm inside). Just writing this review makes me want to go get breakfast...

  • Cary S.

Best place for breakfast in Prescott Valley period! Skip IHOP and Denny's, this place is twice as good for the same price. I usually get the country fried steak & eggs which is delicious. And people I've been with love their waffles. There is only a few things wrong with this place, the coffee is mediocre, they don't accept cash, and it's rather tiny. Other than that this place is a winner!

I like to support local businesses, and Jamie's makes it easy. Really excellent family dining! The food is delicious, perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The service is always super friendly and accommodating, even for my very large extended family get-togethers. And they remember their regulars! For me, that's important.

  • Rick S.

Very good food, good prices, and fast. Service here was much better than at the Waffles-N-More location in Prescott (both restaurants appear to share the same menu and style). French toast was fantastic and I was surprised to discover that they offer a butter pecan syrup here, something I typically have to go to IHOP to enjoy. Portions are larger than I expected, and I found myself getting full midway through the meal. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes during a busy mid-morning, so if you're looking for a quick bite to eat with a good, classic American breakfast in PV, look no further.

  • Helen R.

We are breakfast regulars here. I am handicapped and find it accessible, the portions HUGE and reasonable and the servers super friendly, sweet, and helpful. It's our faved breakfast spot!

  • James E.

Good food, great service, fast and reasonably priced.

  • AJ H.

Came in for breakfast on a Yelp recommendation. Good prices and the food was great. The buckwheat waffles are amazing. The French toast was light and crisp. It's cash only though so consider yourself warned. Would recommend to others.

I must say I was very pleased to have found this place. Actually more than pleased. I was besides onesself with joy!!!

  • Lori G.

Great food, fast. Clean super nice staff. We will make it a regular place to stop when we come up to Prescott valley.

  • Carrie K.

Great service and AMAZING FOOD! There are so many good choices that I had a hard time deciding. This was our first time here, and I can't wait to return to Prescott Valley so I can eat here again! This is definitely our new fave in the area! I seriously love this place. Think that's a bit much? Well, see for yourself!

    (5)
  • Leslie B.

Yep....still as good as before. Fast, friendly. great pricing and good portion sizes! Go there!

  • Emily K.

Have eaten here once before today and it was ok, prices are pretty good. Very dissapointed in service today. We walked in, nobody said anything to us for about 5 min, except excuse me a few times. Guess we were just in the way. Didn't say hello or good morning or we'll be with you in a minutes. Oh well, lots of other good breakfast places to eat around here. Won't be going back.

    (1)
  • James H.

I like Jamie's but they can be a little fickle sometimes. why can't they just make some of their own food, like their home fries? why do they use prepared food from the freezer? Other then that they are good but breakfast is better, much better at Backburner !!!

  • Bill V.

We had heard of this place and decided to give it a try. It's a pleasant little place in a strip mall and clearly a locals eatery. It is modestly furnished and spotlessly clean. We were immediately greeted and seated by a welcoming and cheerful staff. A plus for me - local vets seem to be regulars here. Met a WWII Army Air Corps Vet. Awesome. Nice ambiance. My wife and I each had one of the waffle specials - she the regular waffle, I the buckwheat, with scrambled eggs, ham, and coffee. Service was, quick, courteous, and very attentive - excellent. The check for two, with tip: $26. Both waffles were excellent. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The ham was delicious, but the portion was skimpy considering the end price for two meals. Every imaginable flavored coffee creamer was on the table but even those could not improve on the horribly tasting and weak coffee. All in all it was a good breakfast; bigger pieces of ham and a better brand of coffee, or at least a better brewing technique, would have made it a great breakfast. I would come here again if we were invited to meet friends or such, but I'd sooner go to IHOP. As a footnote: Bring cash. They DO NOT accept debit or credit cards.

    (3)
  • Ashley B.

We got there right before a huge rush! Great selection of food and reasonable prices. Everything we ate was delish and $32 for 3 people is not too shabby. You can tell it's old and they don't accept cards but we would definitely go back the next time we are in town!

  • l j.

I love a hearty breakfast at a fair price! This is the place for that for sure! All the traditional favorites and some welcomed additions! I can't wait to go back and get the pancakes with yogurt and fruit. There is a waffle with Bacon inside it!!! What else do you need to know?!?

    (5)
  • +TheGeneralofHope +.

First off - this place only takes cash! No debit, no credit cards & no checks. So hit the ATM or the grocery store and get cash back. IT IS WORTH IT!!! The food is exceptional! Good prices and excellent service! One in our party needed the A/C turned down above her booth and they did it!!! Sweet! Small bathrooms but the place was clean. A solid 5 stars!!!

    (5)
  • John C.

The place itself is very simple plain diner style.. no frills.. but clean.. The staff are friendly and the food came out VERY fast indeed. Generous portions, an excellent omelet and a VERY fair price - my only minor niggle is that they do NOT take cards - cash or check only.

  • Vy L.

This is the best breakfast spot in town. I love their omelet creation w/ Louisiana sausage! Their seasoned country fries and biscuit & gravy are my favorites! Prices start low and you can add additional ingredients w/ extra costs.

  • Laurie V.

Bring your cash and hungry tummies. Large servings. We had the pecan waffle, home fries, big ham breakfast and biscuits and gravy. Dip the home fries in the gravy. YUM!

    (5)
  • Cristina L.

What a great little place! Jamie's you are delightful. My elderly parents and I visited and really enjoyed our breakfast. The meals were filling, were great prices and our coffee never went past half full. I liked my biscuits and gravy and home fries. I never would have found this place without all the great Yelp reviews. Thanks! I look forward to another visit with the folks!

  • Brooke M.

This is totally my go-to breakfast joint. I love it. It's always hoppin' and service is always on point. The food is freaking excellent. I have never had something I didn't like from here. Very good. Heads up *cash only*

    (5)
  • Dharma B.

Good food, I loved my Louisiana sausage and hubby liked his peppered bacon. But not accepting credit/debit cards? Hate to say it, but that may be a reason for us to not return. The cashier pointed to an ATM next to the register. So we have to pay a fee to pull out cash to pay for our meal because the owner doesn't want to pay a fee? This needs to be reconsidered.

  • Jeremy E.

Great breakfast from a family owned place... Get a waffle, even if its a half to give it a try. Plenty of other things on the menu that are also great.

  • Meghan C.

Literally the best place in northern Arizona to get breakfast, probably in all of Arizona. Yes, you do need cash, but it's worth it. I continue to come back because you can never have a better breakfast. ESPECIALLY their fruit buckwheat waffles. Service is top notch, food is to die for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS PLACE. Trust me, you'll come back. THEY CLOSE AT 2pm. So don't dilly dally in the morning :)

First off let me say: HANDS DOWN BEST BREAKFAST IVE EVER HAD. I never really go to breakfast because it's always "alright". I mean how many ways can you eat the same foods...then my sister came to visit. We scooped out a few places before we found this one and they fell in line with what I said earlier, they were okay, nothing to write home about. Now we went to Jamie's FIVE times in a 7 day stay, if that says anything to you just stop reading here. The place is small and takes cash only, but there is an ATM inside. We had a group of 7 four of the days we went and they easily accommodated us. The coffee is good, and if you like creamer be prepared because I'm pretty sure they have every flavor. That was fun to try different kinds while we waited. Another plus every day I tried something different and everyday I was surprised by how good it was. The butter pecan syrup comes warm and its amazing. Biscuits and gravy- amazing Buckwheat pancake- amazing Omelette with louisianna sausage - amazing French toast - best I've ever had Over medium egg was perfect, no one has ever made me a perfects over medium until now I can't say enough good things, just go you won't be sorry.

My family and I decided to go here for breakfast based on the positive yelp reviews. We were super impressed with the quality of food here....ah-mazing. I had the corn beef hash and eggs with the country fries and a half waffle. (Fat kid style ;) ) The hash was cooked perfectly. And the waffle, omgoodness...they don't have waffle in their name for nothin! The rest of my family had the veggie sandwich, omelet, french toast and club. They all really enjoyed their meals as well. One of the best things was the homemade salsa. They have both red and green and the green was sooooo good I decided to buy some to take home. I highly recommend trying both salsas. The restaurant itself was clean, including the bathrooms. The decor is a very cute, country home feel. The staff was incredible. They were pretty busy but still remained very attentive and my coffee was never close to empty at any time. ****One thing to note is that they do not accept cards, so you'll want to bring cash. They have an ATM inside that charges a $2 fee if you don't have cash on you. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely return. Awesome find!

We had the steak and eggs with Jamie browns. The steak was AMAZING! It was seasoned with salt, garlic, pepper and herbs. It was cooked to perfection, and was SOOO tender. The Jamie browns are so good too. You won't leave hungry here. You can have toast, or biscuits and gravy. The gravy is really good too. As new residents to PV, this is a wonderful restaurant. The service is always great. Bring cash, they don't take cards, but they have an ATM by the register. My only wish, is that they would just use regular plates instead of the silver on the wooden platter. They've seen better days.

On my recent trip to Prescott Valley I was looking for a different breakfast place than the usual chain places. I stumbled across Jamie's using Yelp and gave it a try. Wow! What a nice breakfast. I had their signature waffle made with buckwheat. Great texture, light and fluffy. Excellent service and good coffee. I could tell that many regulars and locals visit since everyone (including me) got a nice warm welcome. I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in town. The only downside is they don't take plastic; cash only. But since this is clearly posted, I did not see it as a big deal. But during my travels, I usually have very little cash on me so just be sure to have cash in hand and enjoy a great breakfast.

  • Leina R.

The reviews is what brought me to Jamie's and I could not be happier. The service was excellent. Everyone was on the top of their game with making sure our coffee was always filled to picking up our finished plates in a matter of seconds. They all worked as a team and everyone was very friendly. Now to the food...the best omelette and hashbrowns I've had, and their salsa just topped it off. There multi-grain pancakes were delicious and weren't heavy or fall apart. We got there just in time, because when we were leaving their was a line out the door. I can see why. I will definitely be back for more.

I'm going to give this place 5 stars just because if you are stuck out here and you want a waffle, this is pretty much it. That said, it's a damn good waffle, and they have bacon waffles. Yeah, BACON! I'm from California, so I know what waffles are supposed to taste like, and this place does 'em right. One word of warning, there's like 6 tables there, so you might have to wait. But if you're in Prescott Valley, it's not like you have any place to be. What are you gonna be late for, the rodeo? The dead racetrack? Just wait your turn and eat your waffle. * Actually, I lied. I'm not from California. I'm from Iowa. But we still know what waffles are supposed to taste like.

  • V H.

Not only is the food really, really good and made to order. But the service is absolutely top notch. We were so happy to find this place! They are cash only but they have an ATM so it's not too inconvenient. So happy to find a place that is clean and well managed. Keep up the good work!

  • Derek R.

Another Guy Fieri special...A dive but they have GREAT food! I love their multi-grain pancakes and buckwheat waffles! Try them with 100% maple syrup! Yum O! And don't forget to check out their daily breakfast specials for $5.49. Just get there before 11 and you are good to go. We have been going to this place for years. It is our favorite breakfast restaurant. If you get there on the weekend be prepared for a little wait because it is VERY popular! The service is always great and so is the food! 5 stars!

Though we would try this place for breakfast. Oh my god, it was awful. Greasy eggs, so-so pancakes. Won't be going there again

Jamie's is always a must when I am up in the Prescott area. It's hard to find good breakfast these days & but this place knocks it out of the park! The food is always the highlight of my experience followed by outstanding service! Everything I have had at Jamie's is delicious so it is hard to point out my favorite. Check it out for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Jamie's Waffle Express is good eatin'. The portions are HUGE. This is our go-to breakfast place. Waffles are HUGE! And if you order one with fruit, chances are the fruit is fresh. The Mr. has had the mango/peach waffle a couple of times and the mango is always fresh. Piled high, too. I've tried the buckwheat waffle plain, with sugar-free maple syrup. Delish. The waffle is light and delicious. Chorizo breakfast burrito is good. Not greasy at all. Biscuits and gravy are very, very good. The bone-in ham steak and eggs is CRAZY! The ham steak is GIGANTIC! Oh, and salt-ily delicious. I think they offer a half-ham steak which is probably a good idea unless you aim to have ham steak leftovers for days. Apart from breakfast, the only other thing I've tried so far is the chili cheese fries. Very, very good. The food is great. Diner-like. Service is spectacular. My coffee cup is never less than 3/4 full - they are always topping it off. They only accept cash, so be prepared. They have an ATM but I've never seen anyone use it so I don't know if it works.
